Who it is for
Grooby OD is the on-demand store of Grooby Productions, and its masthead calls it "Trans Porn on Demand!" Its scenes center trans women performers, filmed by the company's own studio labels rather than uploaded by the public. The audience is viewers who want trans performers as the main subject, not as a side category, and who would rather buy a single scene than sign up to one studio's membership.
Grooby Productions introduces itself in the FAQ as "the longest running, and most successful transsexual website company", a claim it makes about itself, and says its first site opened in 1996. The store pulls the output of the company's labels into one shop. Its front page lists them with a count beside each, from Asian TGirl and Black TGirls to Femout, TGirl 40 and TGirl BBW, and the advanced search adds more, among them Brazilian Transsexuals, Canada TGirl, Euro TGirls, Russian TGirls, TGirl Japan, TGirl PostOp and UK TGirls. A viewer who follows one label, one country or one performer can stay inside that slice.
Opening an account costs nothing, and the front page puts "Join for Free!" beside the login.
How it treats the people in it
Because Grooby films its own scenes, the questions here are about a studio's practice, and the FAQ answers some of them in its own voice. Asked where models come from, it says: "Everywhere. Clubs, internet, newspaper adverts, word of mouth, many come directly to us." It adds that the company is always looking for new models around the world and points them to an opportunities page. The question "How much do you pay your models?" is answered only with an invitation to "a model or photographer that's interested in possible work" to send details and samples. So a reader learns how performers arrive, not what they earn or what say they keep over a finished scene.
On paperwork the store is firmer. Its footer states: "We hold model releases and ID's for every model and are compliant to 18 USC U2257 Compliant." The separate compliance page carries the 2257 disclosure, saying every person shown in sexually explicit material on the site "were over the age of eighteen (18) years at the time the visual image was produced" and that the records sit "with the appropriate Records Custodian". The page gives the custodian's business hours as 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, but the line where a location should follow is empty, and no custodian name appears. It also says the site carries an RTA adult label, and it points anyone who finds underage material on any website to the FBI or ASACP.
Four policy pages linked at the foot of every store page bear on the people on screen: an Anti-Trafficking Policy, an Age Verification Info page, an Acceptable Use Policy and a Complaints Procedure. Their wording sits on those separate pages, outside the store itself.
Reporting runs by email. The footer asks anyone who sees content they believe "should not be shown" to write to customer service, and promises "we will handle all complaints in a serious and timely manner", without a deadline. Feedback about "the models or the website" goes to a Grooby forum or the admin address. Nothing on these pages says whether a performer can ask for a scene to be withdrawn, how a complaint is weighed, or whether there is an appeal.
How it treats the viewer
Entering the store means confirming an age of 18, or the legal age where the viewer lives if that is higher, and accepting the Terms & Conditions, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy. The footer adds a Refund Policy and a Spam Policy. The pages give no summary of what registration asks for or how long data is kept. The mailing-list form promises a subscriber can leave at any time and that the store "will never give out your email address." Purchases can also be paid from a balance held on the account: when it runs short, the checkout asks how much the buyer wishes to deposit.
The operator named is Grooby Productions, in the FAQ, with no street address on any page. A buyer who wants to leave asks the company to delete the account, and the FAQ warns that this also removes access to every scene bought on the site.
Epoch appears in the footer as the store's "authorized reseller". The FAQ says there is nothing to cancel, since "no recurring charges will occur", and no statement descriptor is printed.
October 2026's load of the front page pulled in 10 third-party domains across 105 requests, none of them an ad network, with no redirect elsewhere, no security warning and no malicious verdict.
What it holds for this audience
Scenes are sorted by studio label first. Each label has its own page; the Black TGirls one ran to 18 pages of results, each scene with a date, a running time, an HD Video tag and a short write-up. The front page carries Latest Hardcore Scenes, Latest Solo Scenes and Most Popular Scenes, with the newest releases dated October 2026.
In October 2026 the store priced a hardcore scene at $19.99 and a solo scene at $14.99, and sold a full DVD as a "Premium DVD" for $40.00. The FAQ says a purchase is "yours to keep forever", downloadable in 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, and can be fetched again after logging back in. It names MP4 as the format.
The category side of the front page counts scenes by pairing: 340 beside its trans-with-trans label, 109 beside trans-with-man and 16 beside threesome or more. The advanced search filters by body type, hair, ethnicity and country, from Australia and Brazil to Thailand, the UK and the USA, and by shoot type, solo, POV and VR among them. It can also limit results to content added in the last 3 to 90 days.
The scene write-ups read like a studio keeping track of its own performers. They mark a newcomer's debut, name a Model of the Month, and follow returning names over years: one Black TGirls solo celebrates ten years since its performer first appeared on that site, and a front-page solo traces another performer back to her first Grooby shoot in 2010. Body types range across Slim, Average and Thick or BBW, and the filters include a Post-Op option.
VR has its own menu entry, and the website filter lists Grooby VR, JustVR and TransVR. A "Request a Scene!" link lets buyers ask for something, and a Models index lists every performer by letter with the number of scenes available for each.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits viewers who want trans women as the whole subject, made by one long-running studio group, and who prefer to own a few scenes outright. The written promise of releases and IDs for every model, and the plain answer on where performers are recruited, give this reader more than many stores say.
It falls short for a reader who wants to know how performers are paid, whether one can have a scene taken down, or how long a complaint takes: the pages are silent on all three, and the custodian's location is blank. Deleting the account also deletes access to purchases. The brand and some labels use older wording. Its strength is a single storefront for one trans studio group's whole output, sorted by label and performer.
